\"BlogGisteren dus met veel goede moed vertrokken. Nu zitten we in Dos Hermanas, vlakbij Sevilla, twee uur verder dan waar we gestrand waren. En … opnieuw gestrand. ‘t Is te zeggen, de auto verliest nog steeds massa’s water. We belden onze mechanieker terug op. Hij adviseerde ons toch maar om terug naar een Land Rover garage te gaan. Gelukkig is er hier in Dos Hermanas \u00e9;\u00e9;n. Dat wisten we, omdat we onderweg een reclamebord gezien hadden. Tja, je begint daar op den duur op te letten!
Blijkt: de waterpomp is stuk. ‘Hebben we niet in voorraad. Moeten we bestellen. Kom vrijdag maar terug.’ Nog niet op de boot dus. Gelukkig rijdt de auto nog wel en kunnen we gewoon op een camping slapen, in ons eigen bed, zalig. Nadeel: de verzekering komt niet tussen zolang je auto nog rijdt. Voordeel: we moeten geen uren wachten op een taxi.
Daarnet hebben we wel even naar Anje gebeld. We doen ons best om toch nog op tijd in Marakkech te geraken! Hopelijk is dit het laatste defect en zijn we er dan vanaf voor tien maanden. Als vrijdag blijkt dat het toch join de culas is, zoals sommige mechaniekers al eens bang vernoemd hebben, dan moeten ze heel de motor uiteen halen en dat duurt misschien wel een week. In dat geval kunnen we Marakkech op 3 oktober wel vergeten.
